Club Uniforms Valleys
United uniforms are available from the club. The uniform must be worn in
interclub events. Resignations As this is an Incorporated
Club, resignations should be in writing to the Club Secretary. Club
Races Participation in races is optional, but necessary to qualify for
attendance award. The more who race the better the club spirit, and the stronger
the fellowship becomes. If you decide not to race, please advise the selectors
of your intentions prior to race days. Interclub and Open Races
Members may or may not wish to participate in these events, so there will always
be pack runs arranged for those not wishing to race. If you have some doubts regarding
these events, don't hesitate to ask a more experienced runner for information.
You will find that a considerable cross section of runners of varying abilities
participate in these events. A good turnout of members indicates a strong, healthy
club. Entry Fees Entry fees for open races will be paid by
the club for all events supported by the club (except marathons). If you do not
intend to race in the events, please advise early and save club funds.
Note...
The Club Captain has full charge of all course and other matters
relating to runs and races. Events will be held wet or fine,
at 2.00pm unless otherwise stated. Club runs will commence at
that time, therefore members are requested to assemble at 1.45pm
to run at the set time.
